Peru: Huacachina

The desert village Huacachina (5km of Ica) is built around an oasis and surrounded by mountainous sand dunes. There is not much to do except for the buggy/sandboarding tours. The buggy brings us on a rollercoasteresque way to the top of the dunes.  From there we can board or glide down.  Sunset is the best time for this activity. The scenery is at its most stunning.

Het woestijndorp Huacachina (5 km van Ica) is gebouwd rondom een oasis en omgeven door enorme zandduinen. Er is niet erg veel te beleven behalve de buggy/sandboarding tour. De buggy brengt ons op een rollercoasterachtige manier naar de top van de duinen waarna we met snowboards naar beneden glijden. Zonsondergang is de beste tijd voor deze activiteit. De uitzichten zijn prachtig dan.
